Man Dead After Overnight Shooting In Clairton
CLAIRTON (KDKA) - Authorities are investigating following a deadly shooting in Clairton in the very early hours of New Year's Day.
The incident happened along Lincoln Avenue just before 1 a.m.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, officials with the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identify the victim as 20-year-old Tauvea Hurt of Clairton.
The Post-Gazette reports that Hurt was taken to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he died around 2 a.m.
An autopsy has been planned for today.
