Fayette County Woman Charged With Having Sex With 14-Year-Old

CONNELLSVILLE (KDKA)-A Fayette County woman faces charges after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Police charged Crystal Shroyer, 32, of Connellsville, with statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.

They say the 14-year-old ran away from his parents' home and went to Shroyer's home during a party back in March.

Shroyer told police that she did have sex with the boy that evening.

The 14-year-old victim actually dated Shroyer's late daughter for a while. Her daughter lost a battle with cancer in June of 2014.

Shroyer posted bail and has a preliminary hearing set for June 15.
