THE DEFENSE

Q: Hi Angelina! Let's start with you. Which neighborhood do you live in and what's your zip code?

A: Callery, Pennsylvania 16024.

Q: Thank you. Now on to your Nissan Cube. What made you buy this car?

A: It was brand new and I liked the look of it. It came out in May and I ordered it in August. I had to wait four months for it, but I got to choose specific options. I got it in early December, so it was like a Christmas present.

Q: Does your car have a name? What kind of personality does it have?

A: I call my car Cubert since it is shaped like a cube. My husband even got me a stuffed panda shaped like a cube that I keep in the car. My car's personality is definitely happy, fun and energetic.

Q: What is that circle of carpet on your dash?

A: That is the first thing everyone asks. It just keeps things from sliding off that you place there. I use it to hold my sunglasses and iPod.

Q: What is your favorite feature on your car?

A: Lots of cup holders! Also, good gas mileage. It is easy to park and I have a flat, rectangular trunk that I can fit a lot of stuff into.

Q: What is unique about your car besides its unusual design?

A: Because the car is so square, there are lots of circular patterns in the car. Ripples in the roof pattern are enclosed in a raindrop of circles. It almost shimmers when you look at it. A lot of attention was placed on the interior design. There is also a little button you can push that turns on 20 different colored LED lights that circulate while you drive.

Q: So it's like a party in your car? Does it draw a lot of attention?

A: Yes, definitely. People can't help but smile when they see it. It is a very social car.

Q: What is the longest trip you have taken?

A: Down to Charlotte, North Carolina to visit my husband's family. We go there a lot.

Q: Do you think there is any difference in Southern drivers and Northern drivers?

A: People drive much faster in the South and most of the roads have five lanes. Things are slower paced in Pittsburgh and it is less congested. I also think the hills and winding rolls up north are much prettier.
