Communities Get Paid For Natural Gas Drilling

Local communities are getting paid for natural gas drilling. The money come from the Impact fee that has collected for than $200 million overall from drilling through 2011.

• Washington County will recieve the most with $4.4 million.
• Greene County will recieve $3.1 million.
• Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Fayette Counties will each receive more than $1 million.
