Bouchette: Steeler's Running Game Will Matter
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Every Monday morning, 93.7 The Fan Steelers' Insider and PG Beat Writer, Ed Bouchette joins the Fan Morning Show to break down the Steelers game.
In the 32-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the Steelers passed for 357 yards of offense and only rushed for 91.
That concerns Ed, who thinks that they will need to improve in the running game if they want to have success against New England and Baltimore. Rashard Mendenhall only averaged 2.5 yards per carry when Isaac Redman was averaging 4.8. Of Mendenhall, Ed said, "I think he is their most talented running back, but, there is something missing there."
The personal foul penalties continue to come from guard Chris Kemoeatu. Ed says that the Steelers knew when they drafted him that Kemoeatu "has a bit of a temper," but cant seem to figure out how to fix it.
