Bouchette Breaks Down The Steelers After Week 17

Pittsburgh (93-7 The Fan) - Post-Gazette Steelers insider Ed Bouchette joined the Fan Morning Show from Cleveland after the Steelers' 41-9 win on Sunday to secure the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.

Earlier in the week, Bouchette thought the Browns would show up and give the Steelers a tough game. So, he wasn't surprised by the Steelers' performance because everyone knew they were capable of it.

Bouchette doesn't think defensive end Aaron Smith will play in the divisional playoff game in two weeks and there is an outside chance that he might be ready for the Super Bowl, if they make it there.

Bouchette thinks the team will be passing the ball more in the playoffs because that is their major strength.

The team ran the ball for 100 yards on 33 carries and if they aren't successful running the ball against the Browns they will have a harder time against a better defense, Bouchette said.
