Armed Robbery Prompts SWAT Situation In McKeesport
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- A food mart in McKeesport was robbed Thursday night.
It happened around 5 p.m. at D&S Food Mart on Union Avenue.
McKeesports police say officers were sent to the scene and were able to quickly locate the suspect, who had barricaded himself inside a residence.
The incident then escalated into a SWAT situation.
No injuries were reported and August Emil Adam IV as taken into custody by 9:30 p.m.
