Fatal Swissvale Shooting Probed
SWISSVALE (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a fatal Monday evening shooting in Swissvale.
According to police, the shooting happened in an alley near the 2300-block of Manor Avenue around 6 p.m.
The shooting victim has been identified as David Spahr, 51, of Elizabeth. He was shot in the face and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police initially believed it to be a suicide, but are now treating it is a homicide.
Police set up a perimeter in the area, but were unable to locate a suspect.
Neighbors told police that they heard two gunshots.
