1 Woman Killed In Derry Twp. Crash
DERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A Ligonier Township woman died Tuesday evening in a crash in Derry Township.
According to the Westmoreland County Coroner's Office, 33-year-old Kelly Helman lost control along State Route 217 just after 5 p.m.
Her car went off the road and struck several trees.
She was partially thrown from the car and died at the scene.
Police say speed is believed to have been a factor.
