Residents vote 2-1 to end alcohol sales ban in Haddon Heights, New Jersey

The 120-year-old ban on alcohol sales in Haddon Heights could soon be coming to an end. According to borough officials, residents voted almost 2-1 to pass a referendum that would lift the ban on alcohol sales. For over a century, people living in the small South Jersey community had to travel to another town to buy alcohol.
