Famous cross that overlooked Pope John Paul II's 1979 Mass in Philadelphia to be relocated

A large white cross designed for the late Pope John Paul II's 1979 visit to Philadelphia – and that adorned the altar on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway when he said Mass – is on the move. The cross is moving from the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia to the Malvern Retreat House in Chester County.
