Chester Police Commissioner to retire after being placed on leave following report of car crash

The commissioner of the Chester City Police Department has announced his sudden retirement. Steven Gretsky was just placed on administrative leave and will retire by the end of Tuesday. According to Pennsylvania State Police, there was a collision involving his police vehicle and an unattended delivery vehicle. In the meantime, Major Katrina Blackwell will serve as acting commissioner.
