In an Eyewitness News Exclusive, one of two students shot at Delaware Valley Charter High School gives CBS 3 the firsthand account of what sent him to the hospital.
"The fact that we have young people being able to put their hands on these guns is amazing in itself," says Lt. John Stanford, with the Philadelphia Police Department.
Police say a second person has been arrested and charged in connection to the school shooting that took place on Friday at Delaware Valley Charter High School.
The 17-year-old student who was struck in the shoulder during a shooting at Delaware Valley Charter High School has been sent home from the hospital.
A second suspect in the shooting inside of a Philadelphia high school gymnasium that left two students injured has been identified, charged.
Some parents were left in a panic as they tried to figure out exactly what was going on at Delaware Valley Charter High School, and more importantly where was their child?
The incident was reported at the Delaware Valley Charter High School located at the 5200 block of Old York Road.
