Union Hosts Manchester United at Linc

The Philadelphia Union played host Wednesday night to the world's best-known professional soccer team at Lincoln Financial Field. But, Union fans were outnumbered by fans of Manchester United.

KYW's Jim Melwert reports soccer, or better put, 'football' fans have been waiting for this for quite a while, including Colem Burk who grew up in Manchester:

"I go back home every year to watch the games, but it's great to have them back in our back yard. We've been counting it down since 75 days ago."

And, while the game was played in the Union's city, it was United fans who made their presence felt:

"It's the second biggest dream of ours, except for actually going over to Old Trafford and watching them play over there."

And many Union fans on hand had divided loyalties, like Sean Simmons in a Union jersey and United scarf:

"Been a Man U. fan for about five years now, but if it wasn't for the Union, I wouldn't be going to see them right now."
