Winners announced for The Great Halloween Tour of Mount Holly 2023

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (CBS) -- Some people in Mount Holly call the town "Mount Halloween" on Oct. 31st and it is partly thanks to a new tradition.

The Great Halloween Tour of Mount Holly has announced its 2023 winners for the spooktacular house decorating tour and competition just before trick-or-treaters took over the night.

First Place: Graveyard on Walnut

Second Place: The Witch House 

Third Place: I Got 99 Problems and a Witch is One 

Born out of the pandemic, the tour started as a way to connect people during the lockdown.

This year, 14 houses took part in the contest. If you want to follow along the house tour Tuesday night, the Mount Holly neighborhood group has shared a map of all the 2023 winners and contestants.
