Succulents Show At Pennsylvania Horticultural Society
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Are you still here? Have a glass of water! That's what I say when I come upon the lovely succulent plant my friend Jennie gave me years ago - the only houseplant I've managed to keep alive so long.
I forget to water, but succulents are very forgiving - and you can learn about all kinds of succulents at a free show opening at the McLean Library on the 1st floor of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society at 20th and Arch. See exotic varieties of succulents and cacti and learn how easy it is to grow them indoors and out - including succulents you can grow on a green roof, giving a deeper meaning to the term 'houseplant.'
This exhibit marks the start of a new series harkening back to PHS's 19th and early 20th century history of staging small shows about all manner of plants. Get details about this free show, running now through December 2nd, at PennHort.net.
