SEPTA Offering Free WiFi At Market East, Suburban Stations
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA is now offering free wireless Internet access at Market East and Suburban Stations.
SEPTA's Jerri Williams says all SEPTA customers can take advantage of this whether they are Comcast subscribers or not.
"All they have to do is take the device of their choice, laptop, iPad or telephone and access the web browser. It's named 'X-Finity WIFI.' Once you get to the portal page there will be a SEPTA logo there, just click on that and if you are sitting in the station waiting for your train you can now roam on the internet."
Williams says it allows commuters more options.
"People come into the city and their on the train catching up on their work and sometimes they might get to the station before it is time for their meeting. Now they can have a seat in the station access the internet and finish up what ever project they are working on."
