Pre-race ritual: The Broad Street Run will be my second run. To get ready for it I will listen to music, stretch and get focused.

Pre-race snack: Sports drink and a protein bar

Tips for new runners: Have fun and just focus on what is at the end of the run, which is a feeling of accomplishment.

Why she runs: I run to de-stress, to feel good afterward and have energy. It's fun to be able to run a certain distance and push your body to go further than you have before.
