Report: Capitals Goalie Braden Holtby Leaves Practice After Collision

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- While fans and analysts continue to debate on Twitter and sports radio about the way Flyers fans behaved on Monday night, there is major developing news at Capitals practice.

The Caps' 26-year-old stud goalie Braden Holtby left Tuesday's practice in Philly after  colliding with a teammate, according to the NHL.com's Tom Gulitti.

ESPN's Joe McDonald confirms the report:

Holtby has allowed just two goals on 93 shots through the first three games of his team's first-round series against the Flyers. The Capitals have won all three games by a combined score of 12-2.

Game 4 is Wednesday night in Philadelphia.

Update:

Holtby's injury does not appear to be series and Caps coach Barry Trotz expects him to play
