Suspect Taken Into Custody After Brief Standoff With Police In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A West Philadelphia man is in police custody after he barricaded himself and two hostages inside of a Melon Street home.
Neighbors tell Eyewitness News the man is 38-year-old Robert Thompson.
Police responded to the home of the 4700 block of Melon Street around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Neighbors say the hostages were his mother and grandmother.
No one was injured.
