Police Investigate Shooting Near School In Kensington
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting that took place across the street from a school in Kensington.
Authorities say a male was shot at 4th and Lehigh late Wednesday morning.
Witnesses say the victim was outside selling toilet paper when he was shot.
The shooting happened across the street from the Julia De Burgos Bilingual Elementary School.
The school was temporarily placed on lockdown, but officials say it has since been lifted.
No word on the victim's condition at this time.
