Phillies Trade RHP To Nationals
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Phillies have traded right-handed pitcher Jimmy Cordero to the Nationals for a player to be named later or cash, the team announced on Wednesday.
Cordero, 25, appeared in 22 games across the Gulf Coast League, High-A Clearwater, Double-A Reading, and Triple-A Lehigh Valley last year. In 26.3 innings pitched in 2016, Cordero allowed 15 earned runs.
