Philadelphia police officer on bike struck by car
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 33-year-old Philadelphia police officer was hit on his bicycle, and the officer is now recovering in the Jefferson University Hospital. He was hit at 5th and Lombard Streets around 2 a.m. Saturday.
CBS3 was told the driver stayed on the scene.
The officer is in good condition, authorities say.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
