Philadelphia Police Officer, Civilian Involved In Crash In Kingsessing, Police Say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police SUV collided with a minivan in Kingsessing. Investigators blocked off 54th Street and Whitby Avenue just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
Police say the officer involved was responding to a call with the vehicle's lights and sirens on when the officer struck a Honda Odyssey.
The officer was not injured. The driver of the Honda was transported to a hospital with a bruised arm, according to police.
An investigation is ongoing.
