Pennsylvania man accused of creating child porn faces new charges as 4 more victims come forward, DA says
A Bucks County, Pennsylvania, man who allegedly used social media to lure children into sending him explicit pictures and videos is facing additional charges after investigators identified more victims, officials say.
Mark William Wills, 60, of Hulmeville, faces charges related to eight victims, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Detectives say Wills pretended to be a teenage boy on social media and encouraged girls to "undress and perform sex acts," according to a news release from the DA's office. Wills then shared the images and videos on social media, the DA said.
Wills was arrested in February and accused of creating the explicit material involving four children. Investigators said at the time they believed there could be more victims and asked anyone with information to come forward.
All of the victims identified so far are from out of state and Canada, and the youngest is 10 years old, the DA's office said.
Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn said the original investigation began in December 2024 after officials received two tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. One of the tips alleged a user on the messaging app Kik shared six video files of child sexual abuse material between Nov. 10 and Nov. 18. The second tip claimed a Snapchat user shared obscene materials in August 2024.
Investigators then linked the Kik account to Wills' home and seized his devices in January, Schorn said. Detectives also found handwritten documents that included details about victims and false identities of young males with names, dates of birth, email addresses and passwords, according to the DA.
Wills used at least five social media accounts with different names, the DA said.
U.S. Marshals arrested Wills in West Virginia in February. Robert Clark, the supervisory deputy with the U.S. Marshals Service, said at the time that Wills was arrested with a backpack with more than $50,000 and documents to apply for Section 8 housing in West Virginia.
