10 People Displaced After Fire In Holmesburg

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - At least 10 people have been forced out of their homes after flames ripped through a residence in Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.
The fire broke out on the 4700 block of Sheffield Avenue, just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Firefighters say there was heavy fire in the kitchen area on the first floor of the home.
One woman was treated for smoke inhalation, when smoke from the fire filled her home next door.
There were no other injuries.
"On arrival, there was heavy fire, heavy smoke on the first floor," said Philadelphia Fire Department Battalion Chief Robert Clark. "No injuries to us, minor smoke inhalation to the woman next door."
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
