Hot Dog Princess Steals Hearts After Choosing To Think Outside The Bun

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In the world of princesses, be a hot dog.

That's the motto after a 6-year-old girl has stolen the hearts of people all across the country after deciding to dress up like a hot dog on princess day.

According to Grayson Lamontagne's Twitter account, it was princess day for students in Ainsley Turner's dance class. While many of the girls chose to dress as their favorite princesses, modeling after the Little Mermaid or Cinderella, Ainsley decided she wanted to do something a little different.

And according to her dad, it was all her idea.

When asked why she wanted to be a hot dog. She replied by saying it was her favorite costume. And like I'm sure like most people would agree, ketchup is her favorite pairing.

Grayson's tweet was published over a month ago but still has the internet buzzing.
