Halftime: Colts 17, Eagles 6

By Joseph Santoliquito

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (CBS) — The Eagles reached the Indianapolis' 14-, 20- and 4-yard lines in three of their first four possessions and only came away with six points in the first half Monday night against the Colts, who held a 17-6 edge at intermission.

The Eagles weren't stung so much by Colts' quarterback Andrew Luck as they were the Indianapolis ground game, which pounded the Eagles for 102 yards rushing, averaging 5.7 yards a carry.

Philadelphia actually outgained the Colts, 233-to-159 yards, in the first half.

Nick Foles, who threw his second interception in as many games, completed 13 of 21 passes for 187 yards, with one interception, while Luck was 10 of 17 for 58 yards and two touchdowns.

Excluding their last drive, the Colts scored three of five series, using nine plays to travel 72 yards that ended with Luck's 1-yard toss to Ahmad Bradshaw. Three drives later, Luck flicked another short pass, hitting Jack Doyle with a 2-yard strike for a 17-6 halftime lead.
