Fire Rips Through Vacant Warehouse In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A huge, 4-alarm fire ripped through a vacant warehouse overnight in North Philadelphia.

Flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Westmoreland Street in the city's Tioga section.

The fire tore through the roof of the two-story building and caused parts of it to collapse.

Fire Commissioner Derrick Sawyer said, ""When you have that amount of fire it's going to cause interior collapse at some point. "

Fire officials say no one was injured in the blaze.

The fire caused delays on several SEPTA routes and the Manayunk/Norristown regional rail line is shut down.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
