Tornado touched down near Downingtown, Pennsylvania, during storms, NWS says
An EF-0 tornado touched down near Downingtown, Pennsylvania, during Thursday's storms, the National Weather Service said.
Teams are still surveying the damage and will share additional information on Saturday, the NWS said. An EF-0 tornado has estimated wind speeds of 65-85 mph.
The NWS also confirmed EF-1 tornadoes in the Dover, Delaware, area, in Queen Anne's County, Maryland, and on Long Island, New York.
The tornado in Delaware caused significant damage to multiple commercial buildings and to the local Little League facilities.
