I-76 in Philadelphia reopens after crash sends 7 people to hospitals

Part of Interstate 76 in South Philadelphia has reopened after a crash sent seven people to hospitals Tuesday night, according to fire dispatch.

The westbound lanes of the highway were closed between Exit 346B-University Avenue and Exit 347B-Passyunk/Oregon Avenue for roughly an hour, according to the Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management. 

The injuries of the patients taken to hospitals range from minor to serious, according to the Philadelphia Fire Department.

It's unclear what led to the crash.
