Battleship NJ Offering Bunks For Guests Coming To See The Pope...For A Price
CAMDEN , NJ (CBS) – Still debating where to stay during the upcoming papal visit?
The Battleship New Jersey, in Camden, is offering a place for guests to reside during the World Meeting of Families and papal visit at the end of September.
According to the Battleship's website, "The encampment includes a tour of the Battleship, a ride in the flight simulator and the chance to sleep in the bunks that the sailors of the USS New Jersey once did."
Although the Ben Franklin Bridge will be closed the weekend of September 26-27, those wishing to see Pope Francis can walk or ride bikes across the bridge into Philadelphia.
The price of reserving a bunk is $75.
