49ers Fire Chip Kelly After Going 2-14 On Season

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has been released as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers.  Chip was hired by the 49ers in 2016 after being fired by the Eagles at the end of last season.

The 49ers went just 2-14 and finished in last place in the NFC West.

The Niners will have the second overall draft pick in the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia.
