2 Companies Offering Free Pretzels This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It's National Soft Pretzel Month, and in celebration, Philadelphians can score a free pretzel from two companies this weekend.

SUPERPRETZEL, which is based in Pennsauken, will be offering free pretzels from noon to 3 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Friday, April 24th at the corner of 6th and Chestnut streets on Independence Mall.

On Sunday, April 26th – which is actually National Pretzel Day – the Philadelphia Pretzel Factory will be giving out free pretzels at any of its locations. The first 100 people in the door at each store will also get a pretzel a day during the month of May.

Hours vary for each Philadelphia Pretzel Factory location, so the company encourages customers to call the store or check online before heading over.
