15-Year-Old Boy Struck, Killed By Tractor-Trailer While Riding Scooter, Police Say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 15-year-old boy was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while riding a scooter in the Bridesburg section of the city Tuesday, police say.
Police say the boy was traveling eastbound on Fraley Street when he was struck by the tractor-trailer going southbound on Tacony Street.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 p.m.
The driver of the tractor-trailer remained on the scene.
