By Justin Lewis

Clouds will linger this afternoon... can't even rule out a leftover shower or some light rain across Long Island... but we should see some breaks in the sky. Temps will still be on the cool side, struggling to even reach the upper 50s.
It will remain partly to mostly cloudy tonight ahead of our next cold front. Temps will fall to near 50° once again.
Showers -- some heavy at times -- will swing through tomorrow morning through the middle part of the evening. It will still be on the cool side with a bit of cloud cover and highs only around 60°.
We're fully anticipating blustery conditions on Friday in the wake of our cold front. And there's a possibility of seeing a few showers well N&W, but odds are low. Expect sun & clouds with a high of about 59°.
As for Saturday, expect sunshine, breezy conditions, and temps a little more on the chilly side.
