Texas pool party

A police officer in Texas is on administrative leave after being caught on video throwing a teenage girl to the ground. He could also be seen pointing his weapon at other teens, responding to reports of a disturbance at a pool party. Brian New of CBS station KTVT, who first brought the video to the attention of police, reports.

G7 summit

President Obama and other G7 world leaders are working out the details of a range of issues including how to handle ISIS and sanctions against Russia, the one country visibly missing from the summit. CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett reports from Telfs, Austria.

Journalist trial

The Washington Post's Tehran bureau chief returned for a second hearing Monday in his closed espionage trial at an Iranian court. When Jason Rezaian first appeared on May 26, his lawyer Leila Ahsan didn't get a chance during that session to being mounting her defense against the charges, which Rezaian's family and employer have dismissed as baseless. Ahsan told CBS News Correspondent Elizabeth Palmer that she hoped to begin arguing her defense during today's hearing at the Revolutionary Court in Tehran.

Libya migrant prison

Libya is in a state of civil war with two rival factions vying for power. As the country has descended into chaos and lawlessness, it's become fertile ground for human smugglers. CBS News Correspondent Holly Williams visited a squalid Libyan prison where migrants who are caught trying to get to Europe are locked up for months on end, waiting to be deported.

Federal government hacked

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul, R-Texas, said he believes China is behind a massive data breach that led to hackers stealing personal information from more than 4 million current and former federal employees. "This is the most significant breach of federal networks in U.S. history," McCaul told Face the Nation anchor John Dickerson.

Christie's heart

For Chris Christie, the final question on a potential 2016 bid is: Do I want to do it? In my heart, is this something that I really, absolutely want to do?" he told Face the Nation anchor John Dickerson. The New Jersey governor has said he'll decide whether to join the already-crowded field of candidates vying for the Republican nomination this month as New Jersey wraps up its legislative session.

Voting politics

During a speech on expanding voting last week, Hillary Clinton called out four current and former Republican governors - who are also declared or likely 2016 candidates - for the policies they had pursued on voting in their own states. Over the next four days three out of the four responded - plus Ohio Gov. John Kasich, whom Clinton did not mention. Here is what they said.

Fighting bullies

Five years after a teen's headline-making suicide, his family's foundation this week is launching a new campaign in his name -- a campaign aimed at putting a stop to bullying before it can even start. CBS News Sunday Morning's cover story is reported by Erin Moriarty of "48 Hours."

School lunch costs

School meals are designed to be both nutritious for students and easy on their families' pocketbooks. Yet while some school lunches might get an "A" on providing essential nutrients, they appear to be receiving a flunking grade for affordability.

Multitasking

Many of us spend our busy days trying to multitask, doing two or more things at once even though numerous studies have found it rarely works as well as focusing attention on one task at a time. But what about multitasking while you exercise? A new study involving a small group of older adults turned the conventional wisdom on its head and found that keeping your brain engaged in other tasks while you exercise may actually enhance the workout.
