Texas GOP congressman defends Trump for calling Clinton a "nasty woman"
Rep. Brian Babin, R-Texas, defended Donald Trump for referring to Hillary Clinton as “a nasty woman” in the third presidential debate with the explanation that “sometimes a lady needs to be told when she’s being nasty.”
During the debate, Clinton was talking about raising taxes on the wealthy to help keep Social Security solvent.
“My Social Security payroll contribution will go up, as will Donald’s, assuming he can’t figure out how to get out of it,” she said, taking a shot at Trump over whether he’s paid federal income taxes. “But what we want to do is to replenish the Social Security Trust Fund -- “
“-- Such a nasty woman,” Trump cut in.
Babin, in his defense of Trump during an interview on the “Alan Colmes Show,” said Thursday that “sometimes a lady needs to be told when she’s being nasty.”
The congressman, a Trump supporter, also told Colmes, “I think she’s done some nasty things.”
