SAG Awards 2016 nominees unveiled

The 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations were unveiled Wednesday morning by "Mom" actress Anna Faris and actor Anthony Mackie, providing a glimpse into what could become some of the leading contenders of awards season.

The SAG Awards recognize the best film and television performances of the year. Nominees are selected by movie and TV groups, each featuring 2,000 randomly selected SAG members.

"Trumbo" tops this year's nominees, scoring nods for Best Ensemble, Best Actor for Bryan Cranston and Best Supporting Female for Helen Mirren.

The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live Jan. 30 from Los Angeles on TNT and TBS.
