Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey feud at "American Idol" audition

Last month, Mariah Carey denied she was fighting with fellow "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj, joking that they'd only been together two days and "a feud takes a little longer to happen."

Well, it looks like it's been long enough - video has surfaced of Minaj cursing out the pop star on the "Idol" judges' panel.

In the video, obtained by TMZ, the rapper can be seen ranting during an auditions stop Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C. The audio is difficult to hear, but the website says that at one point Minaj shouts, "I told them I'm not [expletive] putting up with her [expletive] highness over there."

Carey can be seen responding, but it's hard to hear what she was saying. Fellow judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson appear to be trying to calm Minaj down.

TMZ also reports that the fight erupted over a contestant's performance and that Minaj later threatened to "knock out" Carey.

Carey, Minaj and Urban all joined the "Idol" judging panel this year, replacing departing judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest seemed to reference the incident in a tweet on Tuesday:
