Blake Shelton: "So many great things happening in my life"
Blake Shelton isn't being shy about the great things going on in his life.
Shortly after a rep confirmed that the newly divorced country star is dating Gwen Stefani, Shelton tweeted about the many "great things" are happening in his life. Could a new lady love be one of them?
The comment was part of a longer tweet about Wednesday's CMA Awards and breakout star Chris Stapleton. It read: "Awesome night tonight. So many great things happening in my life. Congrats to @ChrisStapleton!!!! Long time coming brother..."
Both Shelton and his ex-wife Miranda Lambert attended and performed at the CMAs in Nashville, Tennessee. Lambert walked away with the evening's Female Vocalist of the Year honor. And in her acceptance speech she appeared to allude to the split when she said, "Hi guys, thank you so much. Man, I appreciate it. I needed a bright spot this year, so thank you."
Shelton announced that he and Lambert were splitting after four years of marriage in July.
Stefani filed for divorce from Bush rocker Gavin Rossdale in August after nearly 13 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
