"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," they said in a statement.
Rossdale, 49, and Stefani, 45, wed in 2002 after spending six years in a relationship.
Last September, Rossdale gushed about his children and Stefani in an interview with CBS News, saying, "It's amazing. It's amazing...She's an incredible mom and it's a really good setup. It's a challenge to give everything the time it deserves but somehow I think we more or less make it."
