World War II veteran enjoys Tilt-A-Whirl at State Fair ahead of his 100th birthday
There are a couple of major milestones at the Minnesota State Fair this year. The Tilt-A-Whirl turned 100 years old. Longtime fairgoer Bill Homan is also turning 100. On Monday morning, the World War II veteran and his family drove to the fair from Montevideo, Minnesota, just to go on his favorite ride. John Lauritsen shares what inspired Homan to make the trip.
