Soaring temps are creating turbulence at major airports this summer

During the last two summers the Phoenix area experienced weeks above 110 degrees. The heat was so hot it caused carbonated drink cans waiting to be loaded onto flights to ripple and even burst, resulting in some injuries to crew members.
