The Minnesota Department of Transportation reports that 35W will close in both directions between Highway 62 and Interstate 694.
"It's 100 percent recyclable," says Dave Aikens, a spokesman with MnDOT. "We reuse every scrap of it."
WCCO traffic reporter Ali Lucia says that there are major delays along 35W heading south after a crash in the left lane of the work zone.
