The annual Power Girls camp introduces girls to careers in the skilled trades, fields traditionally dominated by men and encourages them to explore career pathways that don't require a four-year college degree.
Fans of the Girl Scout S'mores and Toast-Yay! cookies need to stock up if they want the sweet treats; the varieties are being retired this year.
A Long Lake girl scout is doing something to protect Minnesota families that no one has ever done before.
The new treats are being resold online on sites like eBay for as much as five times their original price.
"Organizations that serve girls and women get less than 2% of philanthropic dollars, and we know that investing in girls and women will change the world," said Tish Bolger.
