Your Office Space Is Shrinking
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're feeling a little claustrophobic at work it could be because your work space is shrinking. The culprit: cost-cutting measures.
According to the International Facility Management Association, the average American office worker used to have about 90 square feet of office space to call their own. Now that same worker is down to just 75 square feet.
And bosses are sharing the pinch, as they're seeing a cut in their office space from an average of 115 square feet to just 96 square feet.
