Pilot dies in plane crash at Winona Municipal Airport
A plane crash in Winona, Minnesota, left one person dead Thursday evening.
Authorities say crews were called to the Winona Municipal Airport around 8 p.m. after hearing of the crash.
The lone pilot of the plane died despite lifesaving measures, the Winona Fire Department said.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
