Washburn Principal Moving To Different Job
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The principal at Washburn High School in Minneapolis will be moving on to a different job.
Carol Markham-Cousins says she was told by the district Thursday morning that she was being relieved of her assignment as principal.
She was also given the option of being reassigned.
Markham-Cousins was told this was not a disciplinary action.
Washburn High has been in the headlines recently for a student walkout and a racial incident involving a hanging doll.
A formal announcement is expected Friday.
