More than 80 vehicles damaged across Minneapolis in 9 separate incidents, police say
Police in Minneapolis are investigating after at least 87 vehicles were damaged across several areas of the city in nine separate incidents early Friday.
Officials said the following incidents were reported to police between 2:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.:
- 2:18 a.m.: 10 vehicles were damaged on the 1400 block of Marshall Street Northeast.
- 2:40 a.m.: Three vehicles were damaged at the intersection of Washington Avenue South and Fourth Avenue South.
- 3:18 a.m.: Three vehicles were damaged on the 300 block of Second Street South.
- 3:39 a.m.: 37 vehicles were damaged on the 2700 block of First Avenue South.
- 4:33 a.m.: Eight vehicles were damaged on the 700 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast.
- 4:44 a.m.: Nine vehicles were damaged on the 100 block of Marquette Avenue.
- 5:55 a.m.: 10 vehicles were damaged at the intersection of Second Street Northeast and Third Avenue Northeast.
- 7:10 a.m.: Two vehicles were damaged on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast.
According to officials, five vehicles were damaged on the 600 block of Washington Street Northeast, though they didn't disclose what time the incident was reported.
No arrests have been made in connection with any of the incidents.
"While some incidents involved similar suspect vehicle descriptions, there was no single vehicle or suspect description common to all the incidents," police said.
Anyone with video related to the incidents is asked to provide it to police.
